Nation's Auto Repairs is a family-run shop at Bay 34 in the Centre At Cutler Bay plaza on SW 190th Street. Orlando runs the floor with his son Louis. The corporation has been registered in Florida since 1997, and the reviews go back more than a decade with the same word in most of them: honest.
What the shop is
A small general repair shop: brakes, air conditioning, check-engine diagnostics, tune-ups, oil changes, belts and the electrical faults that come with South Florida heat. Cars, SUVs and light trucks. Three people, no service advisor between you and the person who worked on the car.
Because it is small, the person who diagnosed your car is the one who explains it to you. Customers say that plainly: he took the time to explain what the problem was.
How a visit goes
You describe what the car is doing. We look, measure and test. Then you get the finding in plain language, a price for the repair it actually needs, and a straight answer about what can wait. The work starts after you say yes, not before.
That is also why there are no prices on this site. A price without a diagnosis is a guess, and guesses are how people get sold rotors they did not need.
Who comes here
Neighbors from Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay and South Miami Heights, fleet trucks with a lot of miles on them, and people who were sent by another mechanic. More than one review mentions driving down from North Miami. One customer has been coming since 1999.
